SO... What happens when I call for the first time about having a tour done?

First things first, tell me about your business and your future goals with your company.
  • I will need your company name and the best way to contact it (phone number, etc).
  • What type place do you have? (Example: Food store, Office, Spa,Restaurant etc)
  • Where are you located?
  • When is the best time for me to stop by and take a look at your location?
  • How do you take your Coffee/Tea and do you prefer Bagels or Jelly Doughnuts???
  • Have a plan ready for what you want this tour to entail for your future potential customers.

What should I expect when you come to my store to start planning?
  • The primary reason for the visit is to see how many panos (360 degree photos) I need to shoot to create the tour.
  • I'll want to do a walk through around the areas of your business you intend to shoot to get a feel for it's layout. I will need to find out how many panos the tour will need in order to prepare for the what needs to be done when actually setting up for the shoot.
  • I will want to see if there are any problem spots or areas that would be distracting to people viewing the tour and discuss with you some fixes or workarounds to these problems (Stains, Non working lights etc).
  • After I know what the tour requires, I will present you the estimate cost of the tour.
  • Set up a firm date/time to come in and shoot the tour.
    • Please note that when doing indoor tours we can't put pictures of peoples faces into the the tour. Shooting time will need to be shot outside of normal business hours.
  • I'll take some measurements, shoot some flat photos and do a rough sketch of the business.

What happens the day of the shoot.
  • I will show up (possibly with a helper) about 20 minutes before the scheduled shoot time to set up the gear. I will also take some shots outside of your business starting near the front door and leading to the nearest street.
  • We will need to come inside and set out tiny markers on the floor where each pano will be shot and markup the sketch.
  • We shoot the tour and then give an estimate on when you will be able to see results (Usually 3 or 4 business days). We ask for your patience! We care about the work we create for you.

When will I see the tour.
  • Tours are usually visible to preview in 3 or 4 business days. If you are happy with the results, they will be published to Google Maps!
  • After transfer to Google Maps, they usually begin to be visible within 3 or 4 hours. It can potentially take a few days longer but the wait is worth it.

Can I put the tour on the company's web site?
  • Yes, of course! I will give you a couple of links that will allow you to embed the tour into your own website.
When do I pay for the tour.
  • Once the tour is posted on Google Maps, you have 30 days to pay the bill. If you are not happy with the tour, reach out to me to discuss your options.
